Manchester United Big Odds-On to Land Top Six Spot

It’s been a dramatic 2021-22 season for Manchester United. At the time of writing, the Red Devils sit in eighth place in the Premier League table after racking up seventeen points from twelve games played. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has recently been sacked as manager, with the north-west side now searching for a replacement.

Despite so many dropped points from this expensively-assembled team, United are only two points behind sixth-placed Wolves and we might expect an upturn in form from the Manchester team. United are huge odds-on favourites to finish in the top six places and it would be a real fall from grace if the Red Devils wound up in seventh spot or lower.

West Ham, Spurs and Arsenal Next in Premier League Top Six Market

The Hammers have enjoyed a strong start to the 2021-22 Premier League season and the London side sit fourth in the table after amassing 23 points from 12 games played. David Moyes’ side finished sixth in the table last term with 65 points and there’s no reason why they can’t repeat this feat.

West Ham have beaten Liverpool this season and have a strong team who will have aspirations to secure fourth place this term, although the same applies to Arsenal who sit fifth in the table with twenty points. This is despite losing their opening three matches of the campaign and Mikel Arteta has built a competitive side.

Tottenham have had a bumpy start to the 2021-22 Premier League season and will hope that Antonio Conte can wave his magic wand at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. A 2-1 win over Leeds has kickstarted their season and they’re level on points with sixth-placed Wolves, with the Champions League again being a target.

Leicester and Wolves Also Aiming For Top Six

Leicester City are really struggling this season and it might be that they don’t get anywhere near the top six of the Premier League. However, the Foxes have finished fifth in the past two seasons and the Midlands side are capable of pulling themselves back into contention after a slow start.

Wolves were able to secure a high placing under Nuno Espirito Santo when they got promotion, with Bruno Lage having done really well since taking charge at Molineux and Wanderers are not without a chance of securing a European spot.
