The US Masters is back after a three-year absence, with Van Gerwen, Price, Clayton, Smith and Wright betting favourites to win in New York.

The first event of the World Series of Darts is the US Masters, with the top eight seeded players heading to this encounter at the Hulu Theater in New York City. The tournament takes place between 3-4 June, with a number of American and Canadian players also lining up.

The darts bookmakers expect the Premier League Darts players to be the ones competing at the business end of the tournament, with Fallon Sherrock hoping to make strides after previously being prevented the chance to line up in the 2020 World Series of Darts circuit.

We're excited about this two-day PDC tournament, with the first round being best of eleven leg affairs, with the quarter final ties being best of fifteen legs. The semi-final clashes are over the same distance, with the final featuring the two teams who have come through the knockout stage.

Some darts betting sites have Michael van Gerwen as the marginal favourite, with the Dutchman having been a bit low on the ground when it comes to securing recent major titles. He was beaten in the third round of the World Darts Championship and it will be interesting to see if he can win the Premier League.

Jonny Clayton was the best performer in the Premier League table stage and the Ferret found some strong form towards the end of the normal phase which could bode well for a player who won plenty of tournaments in 2021.

Michael Smith started to find some form in the Premier League despite not making the final four, with Gerwyn Price recently complaining about burnout from this competition although he might be able to recharge enough to compete favourably in this tournament.
