With two races to go, the Formula 1 title is still up for grabs. Can Nico Rosberg hold off the late push from Lewis Hamilton? Check out our preview of this weekend’s Brazilian Grand Prix, which includes our predictions, betting tips and the latest odds comparison.

With two races to go, there are just 19 points separating the two Mercedes drivers. Hamilton has managed to cut into the gap in recent races, but he’s still got some way to go before he can overtake his teammate. Rosberg has been doing just enough to keep the champion at arms’ length, and he’ll be looking to continue that this weekend.

Hamilton needs another victory here, while he could do with a slip up from the German. He needs the leader to slip out of the top three at least once in the final two races. That’s the only way he can overtake his rival in the final two races. If Rosberg manages to claim second here, he’ll have at least a 12 point advantage going in to the final race in Abu Dhabi. That makes this a crucial race, which makes it even more interesting to bet on.

Coming into this race, Hamilton is the odds-on favourite. Rosberg is an outsider here, but he knows that he doesn’t have to win. A second place finish would be almost enough to put him on the verge of the world championship. He’ll be looking to manage this race, to make sure he keeps as much of his lead intact as possible.

It would be dangerous for Rosberg to go head to head with Hamilton, the champion is in fantastic form. He’s won two races on the spin, which has allowed him to maintain his push for the title. Having been nowhere near the leader a few weeks ago, it’s impressive that he still has a chance of landing a third straight world championship. Will those chances be alive after this weekend?

Our first betting tip is for him to make it three straight wins with victory at Interlagos. He’s 5/6 favourite with Coral, and we think he’s still worth backing at that price. The champion seems to be focused on making this run-in as difficult as possible for Rosberg. We’re backing him to do just that, by taking maximum points here.

The champion is slightly better odds to take pole position. BetVictor make him 10/11 to come out on top of qualifying in Brazil. Given that he’s started in pole position in three of the last four races, it’s worth backing him to do the same this weekend at very solid betting odds. That’s our second prediction here as we fancy Hamilton to take it to the final race.

Don’t forget to take a look at our odds comparison before you go betting on the Brazilian GP. No matter what your predictions are for the race, it’s the best way to guarantee you get the best betting odds and biggest possible returns.
